Rayman Origins Is A Rowdy Riot

Everybody loves Rayman—and it’s hard not to in his latest adventure, Rayman Origins.

While the graphics in Rayman Origins have certainly been updated to modern-day standards, not much has changed with the charismatic Rayman character since his debut in 1995.

Joined by his friend Globox and the two Teensies, Rayman and friends battle the Darktoons that have invaded the Glade of Dreams.

In typical Rayman fashion, the latest installment in the video game series is filled with silly plotlines, horrendous creatures and a whole lot of fun.

Players travel through each level, fighting enemies and rescuing imprisoned Electoons. As the game goes on, players gain new abilities like running, gliding and shrinking in size to allow them into new areas of the game. Rescue all the Electoons and save the day!

Even the critics love Rayman Origins. Nintendo Power called it “a platforming masterpiece”. 1UP.com praised its varied level design and called it “the best 2D platformer not called Mario”.

Rayman Origins is available for PS3, Wii and Xbox 360. Rayman Origins is also available for portable consoles Nintendo 3DS and Playstation Vita.
